2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup: Canada Battles Brazil, Two Others For Super Falcons


In readiness for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Canada Women’s national team has concluded plans to play in the SheBelieves Cup, which will take place in February of 2023.

Canada will be joined by the host United States as well as Brazil and Japan. It will represent their first action of 2023, as they prepare for this summer’s World Cup in Australia & New Zealand.

Canada opens the SheBelieves Cup against the hosts on February 16 in Orlando, Florida, before taking on Brazil on the 19 in Nashville, Tennessee and concluding against tenth-ranked Japan on February 22 in Frisco, Texas.

Canada opens that tournament on July 21 against Nigeria, while also taking on the Republic of Ireland and co-hosts Australia during the group stage.
