Wishwall Foundation Celebrates Festive Season In 4 Vulnerable Homes

Efforts by Wishwall Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization and social community, will not be forgotten easily; with the celebration of the year 2021 Christmas in four vulnerable homes in Ibadan, Oyo state.

With the time to give that comes with Christmas, the Foundation extends her hand of love and giving to the vulnerable homes on the 24th of December, 2021.

The visitation to the vulnerable homes was led by the Head of the team, Mrs Ayomikun Titiloye, while Miss Somidotun and some other volunteers accompanied her.

The visited vulnerable homes visited by the Foundation are: Network for Inclusion of People With Special Needs; Oluyole Chesire Home; Vanguard Vocational Centre for People Living with Disabilities; and His Heritage Home; all based in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.

With a smile on the faces of the children and personnel of the homes, the Wishwall Foundation team were warmly accepted.
At Network for Inclusion of People With Special Needs presented the team a special rendition.

The children received with smile their personalised gifts and card items from the Wishwall Founder, Miss Simonette Lein.

The staff in the home thanked the Wishwall Founder for the kind gesture, care and affection bestowed on the children.

In an appreciation letter, the home thank the foundation for extending love to the little ones. It describes it as an act of support the home will always be grateful for.
Also, at the Vanguard Vocational Centre for People Living with Disabilities, the team was gladly received and appreciated for the present given.

In her address, Miss Simonette Lein thanked the members of the home for the warm welcome. She also admonished the young minds never to see their disabilities as inabilities, but as an opportunity to impact the world in their special way.

Bukola Olalere, World Merit Nigeria Council President, expressed her gratitude to the Wishwall Foundation founder and entire team, described the period as a time of love and support for the needy. She said, “It was an amazing time to show love to children and adults in vulnerable homes, it wasn’t a usual stance they get to experience someone showing love to them by gifting them personalize items”.

She concluded by acknowledging the Foundation’s kind gesture and making the Christmas year memorable.

Responding, Miss Simonette Lein expressed happiness for the success of the outreach and thank God for the opportunity to touch lives.

The Wishwall Foundation is built on the “pay it forward” philosophy. It is built to give a voice to the voiceless and help make meaningful wishes come true.
